Episcopalians Mark 400 Years of the Church in America

The 400th anniversary of the First Landing will be marked in 2007 by various local commemorations, including an April 26 civic gathering which the Episcopal Church's Presiding Bishop, Katharine Jefferts Schori, is scheduled to attend.

  Good Samaritan services expand to 11 counties

Good Samaritan Community Services (GSCS), an agency of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, has won a $504,000 government contract expanding its role as the Youth Workforce provider in Bexar County to include Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson Counties.
